Niagara Health Foundation raises funds for priority equipment needs, redevelopment projects and patient programs at Niagara Health. The funds raised from the Niagara Health Foundation Lottery will support urgent patient care needs at Niagara Health.

  1. The lottery will take place online only during Monday, July 26, 2021 to Thursday, August 26, 2021, with a total of five (5) Early Bird draws taking place on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 9:00am, and Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 9:00am.
  2. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
  3. Must be in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
  4. Tickets are 3 for $10 / 40 for $20 / 200 for $50.
  5. Tickets will be available online at www.NiagaraHealthLottery.com.
  6. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions.
  7. After buying, patrons will receive a confirmation e-mail with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  8. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.
  9. Tickets will be sold beginning at 9:00am on Monday July 26, 2021 and ending at 11:59pm on Thursday August 26, 2021.
    All tickets purchased between Monday July 26, 2021 and Thursday August 3, 2021 at 11:59pm will be entered into the first Early Bird prize draw.
    All tickets purchased between Monday July 26, 2021 and Tuesday August 17, 2021 at 11:59pm will be entered into the second Early Bird prize draw.
    It is possible for the same number to win both the Early Bird prizes and the grand prize.
    • 1st Early Bird Draw will take place on Wednesday August 4, 2021 @ 9:00am
    • The Early Bird Prize is two (2) of $1,000 each
    • 2nd Early Bird Draw will take place on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 @ 9:00am
    • The Early Bird Prize is three (3) of $1,000
  10. The grand prize draw will take place on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 10:00am.
  11. The amount of the 50/50 will be posted online at www.NiagaraHealthLottery.com.
  12. The winning number will be announced by Email, posted on Facebook and Website at www.NiagaraHealthLottery.com.
  13. The winner may claim their prize by contacting Niagara Health Foundation at: (905) 323-3863 or by email at: Foundation@Niagarahealth.on.ca. The ticket may then be brought at Niagara Health Foundations at 1200 Fourth Avenue, St. Catharines, ON at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
  14. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchase for.
  15. The winner must provide his/her name, address, and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
  16. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  17. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Niagara Health Foundation, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
  18. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws: Niagara Health Foundation staff, Volunteers, Board Members, and anyone living in the same households of those individuals.
